IPTV Service on a MAG box

A MAG needs no app. Send the MAC off the sticker, paste the portal address it comes back with, restart the portal, done.

Nobody pays for setup here. Message support on WhatsApp and the steps get done together.

Send the MAC to support

  1. 1.Flip the box. The sticker underneath carries a MAC address that starts 00:1A:79.
  2. 2.Send it to support on WhatsApp with the word MAG.
  3. 3.That MAC is activated and the portal address comes back in the reply.

Enter the portal address

  1. 1.Open Settings on the box, then System Settings, Servers, Portals.
  2. 2.In Portal 1 URL, enter the address from the reply. Give it any name in Portal 1 name.
  3. 3.Press OK, go back, and select Restart Portal.
Note. Enter the address exactly as sent, including http:// and any port number after the colon. One wrong character leaves the portal blank.

Set the clock

A wrong clock shifts the whole guide. In System Settings, open the time section, choose your US time zone and set the time server to us.pool.ntp.org. Restart the portal once more and the guide lines up.

Formuler boxes work the same way through MYTV Online, in the Formuler guide, and BuzzTV has its own BuzzTV guide. The portal carries the same channel list as every app.
