IPTV Service on a Samsung or LG TV

Samsung and LG both stock a player, so nothing plugs into the HDMI port. The catch is that these players want the TV's MAC address, not a username.

Nobody pays for setup here. Message support on WhatsApp and the steps get done together.

1

Install a player from the TV's store

Open Samsung Apps or the LG Content Store and look for one of these:

  • IBO Player Pro

    Paid

A free week, then one payment. A year of it comes with the 12-month plan.

  • Smart IPTV

    Paid

A one-time fee after a free week, activated on the app's website.

  • IPTV Smarters

    Free

Free where the store carries it, and easy to use.

Send the MAC address to support

  1. 1.Open the player. The opening screen shows a MAC address and, in some apps, a device key.
  2. 2.Send both to support on WhatsApp along with the app's name.
  3. 3.Your login is attached to that MAC. Restart the app and the channel list appears.
Note. Use the MAC shown inside the app rather than the one in the TV's network settings. They can differ.

If the store has no player

Some older sets carry none of the apps above. A Firestick in the HDMI port solves it for a small outlay, and its guide is one click away.

The Firestick guide covers the stick route, and the Android guide covers boxes and the Chromecast. Open the channel list to see what the TV will carry.
